........... with a little help from my friend

Image
Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning and my mom showed me her texts and guess what... it was from my mom's good friend Mini Aunty. The text was that her daughter and my friend, Ananya had read my previous post ( A Pen's Life) and had bought ink pens  and when I saw that I felt very happy that people are actually reading my blog and putting my requests in action. Yayyy kids are gonna change the world.... for the better. Here's a pic of Ananya and Mini aunty with their pens.. Another thing that I would like to share - My mom's student had made a coconut scrub meant for dishes. It is made of coconut fibres It is much better than Scotch Brite and also more environmentally friendly :) This kid is only 14 and kids can save the world Don't worry grown-ups the world is in good hands! Song reccos- Beatles- I get a little help from my friends Micheal Jackson- Heal the World Thank you!!!!

A PEN'S LIFE

Happy New Year Everyone!! I hope you all have a great year ahead :) As a  student in India we write a lot, and hardly use gadgets in school. This means we use a lot of stationery, especially pens like gel pens, ball point pens. Basically pens that can't be reused. I myself use ball point pens.. I am slowly trying to use ink/fountain pens. My mom has used  a Lamy fountain  pen for the last 15 years and even before that she has always used an ink pen cause she says it makes her handwriting better. My dad also uses one too. As you  can see in the pictures, my mom's pen isn't sustainable. She needs to use plastic cartridges every time the ink runs out.  But here's another pen bought by my parents for me on my birthday. This IS a sustainable pen. Whenever the ink runs out I  refill it straight from the ink bottle. Yes, it's a bit inconvenient because it leaks if you don't clean it properly. I  hope that this will motivate all of my
